Is the TRON network permissible to use?
Question context
Community members asked about TRON specifically given its widespread use for USDT transfers and its association with Justin Sun and JustLend.
CoinStudy's answer
Research opinion from the CoinStudy Sharia team. Not a fatwa.
Our Shariah Board Chairman reviewed the full TRON analysis and ruled: "Using the Tron network is permissible." CoinStudy classifies TRX at 82 out of 100 Halal as genuinely neutral blockchain infrastructure. Muslim investors should note that permissibility of the network is separate from the compliance of specific applications built on it. JustLend, SunX, and other TRON ecosystem applications require individual assessment. Using the TRON network for transactions is permissible but using JustLend for lending is separately Haram.
