Is contributing to Fermah's infrastructure content permissible even though Fermah showcases prediction markets as a flagship use case?

Question context
A Muslim developer asked whether they could write educational content about Fermah's technical architecture while deliberately avoiding any promotion of Flashcast, Fermah's prediction market application.
CoinStudy's answer
Research opinion from the CoinStudy Sharia team. Not a fatwa.
Our Shariah Board Chairman ruled that contribution focused on infrastructure content while deliberately avoiding promotion of prediction market applications is permissible under the majority work principle. The compliance question for contributing is evaluated by what you are actually doing, not by what the platform also hosts. This is different from investing in Fermah's token. The chairman confirmed: if the majority of your work involves permissible content and you deliberately avoid promoting haram applications, your contribution satisfies the majority work principle in Islamic jurisprudence.
